She had a web crossing ...We have one here in SoCal. She had a web crossing the path to our courtyard anchored to a pot of succulents. Since we knew we’d wreck her large web if we walked into it we simply moved the pot to one side of the path. She tolerated this quite nicely and has fixed her web. She chose the area likely because of the light that is on outside the door. Al...We had one, which I was ok with, then we had 2. Alright, I'm ok with 2 and then we had 10!! They are huge . I was quite overwhelmed with that many on our covered deck. I was told to use vinegar to help control them. Well I spray it nearly every night around the perimeter of the deck. It has helped. But I feel sort of bad. So I'm back to 1. We have an orb weaver resident for a couple of weeks that has the exact weak and small web that Vicki described in her 10/16/2019 post. Spidey went without building a web for days until it rained and then she built a small web. I wonder if she was starving and did not have the raw material to build a web until she got water in her.
