I've always been fond of Ammophila, esp...Eric,<br /><br />I've always been fond of Ammophila, especially the stubby-winged A. wrightii, which I often encountered on the Jornada Experimental Range north of Las Cruces, NM. That they actually fly is a wonder in itself.<br /><br />If I had not specialized in jumping spiders, wasps would be my next choice, although I also liked tiger beetles, dragonflies and scorpions.
