Are they growing in population ? I’m will never sit on the beach at night ! No, they are not particularly a...Thank you, Jenny! No, they are not particularly aggressive, except toward potential prey. They *can* bite, obviously they have to in order to kill their prey. They do not bite in self-defense unless they are handled roughly. Their size is surprisingly large and they are incredibly fast!!
