I am also combing out thin black hair like fibers and sometimes black dots as well. Any comments suggestions or tips? We are going to seal up the showers after we dry everything out and add a door to the shower but I need to remove them from my head ASAP. The tip for using DE came in handy. We had heavybrains last night andnin the morning found SO MANY springtails by a few windows. I remembered mybhusband had some DE lying around, sonI spread some by every window and checked often to see if it worked. I think they live in the indoor terrariums I have for my native crickets, but when the springtails get out, they are impossible to catch and return to the terrariums or to the outdoors.
